For it's time, the
Body-Solid Muscle Craft Gym was a revolutionary freeweight gym system that offered
a versatile, safe and durable solution to freeweight training at home.
If
you're the kind of athlete who prefers to work with free weights, barbells and
dumbbells without the strict movement of say a Smith machine or a multi-gym, then
you would find working out on a Muscle Craft Gym would have been just the ticket!
Not
only did the user benefit from freedom and safety of using the Body-Solid Multi-Press
Rack system (#WMPR-80), he/she then had the added benefit of a dipping station
(#DS-14N) , a pec-dec (#PA-3), a high and low pulley lat station (#LA-79S), a
pull-up/chin-up bar and host of utility bench (#WFID30) exercises to boot!
Easy-to-adjust
spotters and lift-offs (#LO-2) gave the user the freedom to workout in complete
safety.
As with current Body-Solid gym-pack products, the lat station
(#LA-79S) was supplied with a powerful 210 Lb cast iron weight stack. Latter packages
offered the LA-79S with optional 285Lb weight stack. And all this for around GBP
1000.00 sterling! The Muscle Craft Gym was most certainly a system designed
ahead of its time. Even by today's standards, this machine would fair up well
to the demands of most fitness enthusiasts and athletes.
Sadly, the Body-Solid
Muscle Craft Gym was deleted from the product range in 2001 to make way for a
new version. |
